About Writer's Block Rehab
The menu arrives bound inside a hardback, and the cocktails take their cues from fiction and theatre; the Elphaba is the one reviewers mention most. The building climbs three floors around an open stairwell, with walls lined floor to ceiling in book spines, a cluster of glowing globe lamps hanging through the void, leather chairs and small marble café tables, and the top level is roomy enough for groups of six to eight. Half a block from Broad Street on a narrow side street, it feels tucked away despite the red neon sign outside. Hours are 4 PM to midnight Wednesday and Thursday, until 1 AM on Friday and Saturday, 4 to 10 PM on Sunday and 5 to 10 PM on Monday; Tuesday it is closed. Prices are fair, and charcuterie covers the food side. At 4.3 on Google, the room wins near-universal praise, while service reviews are mixed, citing slow drinks on busy nights and a firm no to off-menu requests.
