About Her Place Supper Club
Chef Amanda Shulman's tiny room runs like a dinner party: two seatings a night at 6pm and 8:30pm, Monday to Friday only, and a single tasting menu that changes with the seasons. Opening courses come family-style on shared plates, then pasta, a meat course and dessert arrive individually, with the cooks explaining each dish from an open kitchen a few steps from the tables. Recent favorites include tuna tartare with fried squash blossoms and crab triangoli, and portions leave most guests full. The format earned a Michelin star in 2025, and getting in is the hard part: tables are released online and gone within seconds, a frustration that runs through the reviews. It is not BYOB; a short list covers cocktails, wine, vermouth and after-dinner pours. Expect a cozy, chatty room, casual-chic dress and a bill at the top of the city's range.
