About My Loup
Where its sister supper club serves a single tasting menu, this Walnut Street room lets the table order: small, medium and large plates with a heavy seafood lean, from oysters and razor clams to a seafood tower, pickled shrimp in a jar with crackers, escargot, halibut and duck, closing with chocolate cake. The alternative is "let us cook", a $125-per-person selection picked by the kitchen from the regular menu. The room is dark and clubby, with bookshelves to the ceiling, deep green tufted banquettes and candles on every table. It runs Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm to 10pm. Reviews, 4.6 on Google, praise servers who read the table well, and a favorite order is a martini made with the pickled-shrimp brine. Worth knowing: a mandatory kitchen tip is added to the bill and mains sit around $50. The Michelin Guide lists it as recommended.
