About The Sun Dial
A glass elevator running up the outside of the Westin Peachtree Plaza delivers guests to the 73rd floor, where a dining room and a lounge bar ring the top of the cylinder. The windows take in Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Centennial Olympic Park and the long spread of the city's tree canopy, and recent reviewers note the floor no longer rotates as it once did. Dinner runs nightly from 5:30pm to 10:30pm, with steaks, crab cakes, pork chops, lamb and crème brûlée, plus a signature cocktail in a Sun Dial hurricane glass; daytime observation access runs from noon to 5pm. Prices are high and reviews divide: many call it the best view in Atlanta, while others report slow kitchens, windows that reflect the room after dark and food that trails the setting. Google gives it 4.2 on more than 4,300 reviews.
