About The Roof at Ponce City Market
An elevator ride from the market hall leads to Skyline Park, a boardwalk-style roof of mini golf, carnival booths such as goblet toss, a drop-tower ride and a bar, all set against the brick tower of the old Sears building with Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead on the horizon. Entry is paid, about $10 a head, and games, golf and rides are charged separately on top, which caught out several recent visitors who expected them to be included; a family can pass $40 quickly. Clear igloos go up on the deck in the colder months. Hours run from 3pm on weekdays and 11am at weekends, closing at midnight on Friday and Saturday. Drinks and snacks are priced for a captive audience, with canned water at $2. Google rates it 4.3, and the sunset view is the thing reviewers agree on. For a sit-down meal, 9 Mile Station shares the roof.
