About St. Regis Bar
A painted phoenix, Atlanta's emblem, rises in gold above the back bar, and the rest of the room follows the St. Regis template: dark coffered wood, iron chandeliers, tufted sofas, wine walls behind glass and outdoor seating for warmer nights. It opens at 2 p.m. daily and closes at 11 p.m., or midnight on Friday and Saturday, so it covers afternoon drinks, pre-dinner cocktails and a last glass after a Buckhead evening. Live music features on some nights, and sports play on the screens behind the bar. The menu keeps to lobster rolls, sliders, fried calamari, charcuterie and bar nuts, with a broad wine and cocktail list; Google puts spend at $100 or more a head. Individual bartenders earn warm notes, but two recent reviewers describe being moved from their tables abruptly, a sore point at this price. Valet parking is available at the hotel, and the Google rating stands at 4.4 from 193 reviews.
