About Iris
Just south of downtown on Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard, the old Believe Music Hall now runs as Iris, and the production remains the headline: a high-ceilinged hall with arches and columns, laser grids, a chandelier rig over the floor and banks of video panels behind the stage. Programming is electronic from start to finish, with house, techno and big-room EDM depending on the booking, and fire dancers and inflatables turn up on theme nights. It opens Thursday through Saturday from 10pm to 3am. Regulars call it their favourite EDM room in Atlanta and advise buying tickets online, since door prices climb steeply; a taco vendor outside has become part of the ritual. Not every review is warm: a longtime visitor says it has grown overcrowded and the security team colder, and another warns guests to watch their drinks. Google averages 3.9 from just over 100 ratings, and entry typically runs $20 to $30.
