About Establishment
Barn doors, reclaimed Georgia timber, antique iron fittings and a floor-to-ceiling back bar stacked with bottles set the look at this Colony Square lounge, which leans rustic rather than slick. A crystal chandelier hangs over a sitting room of leather chairs, a fireplace warms one corner, and the terrace outside has a fire pit. The menu is Southern small plates and bar food done with care: deviled eggs, duck tacos, Brussels sprouts, mussels, sliders and a house burger that one transplant from rural Ohio calls the only proper bar burger in the city. Cocktails are made to order, though a few guests find them small for the price, and an automatic 20% gratuity has put some off. It opens at 3pm on weekdays and runs until 10pm, stretching to 1am on Friday and Saturday, when the music turns up for a livelier late crowd; Sunday it is closed. A MARTA station is a short walk away, and Google rates it 4.2 from over 1,100 reviews.
