About Marcelino's Seaport
Two settings share one address at the foot of Northern Avenue: an arcaded brick terrace with sofas and rattan chairs looking across Fort Point Channel to the downtown towers, and a dark interior reached through a glowing arched passage, where crystal chandeliers hang over a long marble bar and teal banquettes. The menu is Mediterranean small plates built for sharing, with lamb chops, sliced steak, carpaccio and seared tuna among the dishes that show up most in photos, alongside frothy sours and martinis. Hours are generous, noon to midnight daily and until 1am from Thursday to Saturday, so it works for a late lunch as well as a night out. Google scores it 4.8 across more than 2,700 reviews, an unusually high figure for a room this size, and service gets most of the credit. The one repeated gripe is that the phone line goes unanswered. Time Out ranked it 13th among Boston bars in 2026.
