About Dani's Queer Bar

Pink shelving, neon script on the brick walls and a long black bar give the room its look, with booths for groups and a painted mural at the side entrance. Hours are 4 PM to 2 AM on weekdays and 11 AM to 2 AM on Saturday and Sunday, when brunch is served. The calendar fills with karaoke, trivia and drag, and weekend nights end with dancing to pop, house and hip-hop. Cocktails carry names such as the Bitter Butch and the Pillow Princess Punch, poured alongside disco-ball punch bowls, burgers and loaded fries at $10–20 a head. Reviewers name individual bartenders again and again and describe the bar as a community staple, and Google tags it as a transgender safe space. The rating is 4.3 from about 460 reviews, and recent ones are almost all five stars.
