About Crown
The long, dark room keeps its Candibar fit-out: a mirrored bar under strip lighting, LED screens behind the booth, a wraparound dancefloor and table sections along the walls. The venue now trades as Crown, and the old Candibar web address redirects to the new name. It opens 10 PM to 2 AM Thursday through Sunday, and promoter nights set the tone: Baile Brazil and Favela Encantada bring Brazilian funk and Latin sounds on Sundays, glow parties and Bollywood nights fill other dates, and weekends lean on hip-hop and chart hits. One guest paid a $50 cover plus $35 for nearby parking. Several reviews, in English and Portuguese, warn of a 20 percent service charge added at payment, so the bill is worth checking. The Google rating is 2.7 from about 220 reviews, most of them from the Candibar years.
