About The Woolworth
Crab nachos appear in more than 300 reviews, which says a lot about how people order here: shared plates first, then steak sandwiches, lamb pops, truffle fries and a hula pie big enough for the table. The main room is a long backlit bar under the script logo, with timber floors, leather booths and a balcony of red umbrellas above Elm Street; a library with a fireplace takes private parties. Chef Ronald Von Hatten runs the kitchen. Happy hour runs weekdays until 6:30pm, lunch starts at 11am Tuesday to Friday, Saturday opens at 10am for brunch, and it stays open to 1am on Friday and Saturday, closed Sunday. Its 4.9 across almost 9,800 Google reviews is unusually high, with servers named in almost every recent post. Corporate dinners, conference groups and visitors staying downtown fill much of the room, and the one repeated caveat is noise.
