About Rodeo Bar
The Adolphus re-established its old saloon in 2021, and the current version mixes red leather bar stools, pressed-tin ceilings and papered walls with a neon-lit lounge in back that doubles as a room for private gatherings. The kitchen does burgers (the Rodeo and the Big Tex come up often), fried chicken sandwiches, green chile queso, nachos, bowls and apple bread pudding, alongside margaritas, Lone Star beer and espresso martinis. It opens at 11am daily and runs to midnight, or 2am on Friday and Saturday, and the live music leans country. Google rates it 4.7 on about 1,590 reviews, with servers praised by name again and again. The complaints are specific: small burgers for $14 to $17, and a 20% service charge added to bills.
