About The Mansion Restaurant

The restaurant fills the ground floor of a 1920s Turtle Creek mansion: a carved-wood library room with a stone fireplace and leaded windows, a main dining room under a coffered ceiling, marble-floored galleries and a brick patio with a fire burning after dark. Breakfast and lunch run daily from seven, then dinner from 5:30 offers a seven-course chef's tasting alongside the carte, oysters and a sommelier-led wine list. Time Out named it among the city's best restaurants in 2025. Google rates it 4.5 from about 1,100 reviews, and the praise is mostly about calm: attentive staff, a mellow bar for a drink before dinner, a room free of phone-wielding influencers and anniversaries marked with a hand-written dessert plate. The one recurring reservation is the tasting menu, which a recent diner found bland for the money. Expect a quiet, grown-up evening rather than a scene.
