About Ole Red Nashville
The stone former Broadway National Bank building on the corner of 3rd Avenue holds a tiered main hall facing a large stage with a video wall, balcony tables wrapping around it and bars on each level. Bands and touring country acts play from lunch onwards, and the top floor, The Lookout, adds a rooftop bar with open seating above Broadway. The kitchen is a bigger part of the visit than at most honky-tonks: barbecue boards with brisket, cornbread and corn, loaded nachos, wings and Brussels sprouts all get mentions, and servers are praised by name in almost every recent review. Hours run 11am to midnight, stretching to 2am Thursday through Saturday. Spend lands around $20 to $30 a head. The set lists do not suit every table, with one group of older visitors wishing for more classic rock, but 14,000-plus Google reviews averaging 4.6 put it among the most reviewed venues in the city.
