About Oak Steakhouse
Glass walls rise two stories on Clark Place, and inside, clusters of copper pendants hang over navy banquettes while a library ladder climbs a tiled wall beside the windows. An open kitchen and a long bar anchor the other side of the room. The menu stays close to steakhouse form, with Angus cuts from filet to New York strip, Wagyu seared on a hot stone at the table, crab cakes, lobster mac and cheese, warm rolls and a butter cake reviewers insist on saving room for. Dinner starts at 5pm on weekdays and 4pm at weekends, closing at 9pm most nights and 10pm on Friday and Saturday. The 4.6 from roughly 1,750 Google reviews is carried by service, with servers named in review after review for handling birthdays, anniversaries and tables of ten. The critical notes are a dining room some find too dark and a filet one guest thought ordinary for the price.
