The Westin's 27th floor houses a dark, candlelit lounge with low booths at floor-to-ceiling windows, a long bottle-lined bar and an outdoor pool deck framing a view of downtown; in the colder months part of the terrace is tented and hung with lights. Southern-leaning small plates, sliders, hummus and cocktails make up the menu. The panorama over the Music City Center and the skyline is the constant winner in reviews, and regulars note it is one of the few rooftops still serving late, open until midnight on weeknights and 1 AM on Friday and Saturday. Service is the weak point: several recent guests describe long waits, missed rounds and confusion at the host stand, even when the room was quiet. At 4.3 stars from nearly 1,100 Google reviews, the setting carries it.
