About Honky Tonk Central
The orange brick corner block at 329 Broadway is hard to miss, and inside each of its three floors is an open room with a long bar, high-top tables and a stage set against tall windows over the street. Bands rotate through country favorites and rock covers all day, and on busier evenings line dancers take over the floor in front of the stage, which draws in plenty of first-timers. The kitchen is a real part of the draw for a Broadway bar, with soft pretzels and a hot chicken sandwich both singled out in recent reviews. Doors open at 11am, an hour earlier on Fridays and Saturdays, and the music runs until 3am every night. Crowds are mostly visitors, bachelorette groups and sports fans, and the venue regularly hosts tailgates on game days. Some reviewers find it a touch less commercial than its neighbors, and nearly 4,850 Google reviews average 4.4.
