About Folk
Paper lanterns in clusters hang over a high-ceilinged room of exposed brick, wood paneling and trailing plants on Meridian Street, with blue banquettes along the walls, a lit back bar and a long table for groups. The kitchen, run by the team behind Rolf and Daughters, turns out blistered pizzas and a changing list of vegetable-led plates: the littleneck clam pie and the hot honey pepperoni are the two named most, followed by focaccia with stracciatella, a tuna dip, a cucumber Caesar and tiramisu. Groups of six to twelve can book a set menu, and several reviews single out the same server by name for steering them through it. Dinner starts at 5pm daily and runs to 9pm, or 10pm Thursday through Saturday. A 4.6 from around 650 Google reviews backs the Michelin Guide listing; the rare complaint is a slow start on a busy night. Street parking nearby can be tight.
