About Turandot

Andrey Dellos built a three-storey palace on Tverskoy Boulevard in 2005 and filled it with gilding, crystal and antiques, and twenty years on the room is still the reason most people book. The kitchen runs pan-Asian alongside French and Russian dishes — dim sum and sushi on the same menu as the classics — and there is a bar, a terrace and private salons off the main floor. Jazz evenings and themed brunches run through the calendar. Prices sit in Moscow's top band: reviews quote a 5,000-rouble per-head minimum and Google puts the room above 10,000. Smart elegant, and an evening table needs booking. The 3.9 average across 2,883 reviews is worth reading as what it is — a room that divides people who came for the interior from people who came for the food.
