About Be Agafay

The Agafay is stone desert rather than dune, forty minutes from Marrakech, and the camp is built to make a day or a night of it. A heated pool, a hammam and quad biking are the activities reviewers name most; Mediterranean and Middle Eastern plates come out of the kitchen. Upper-mid prices cover the setting as much as the food. The crowd is Western European, American and British visitors — couples and families, staying overnight or coming out for the day. A 4.8 average across nearly 2,000 reviews is unusually high for a category where the transfer alone loses venues a star, and the staff are named in 174 of them. Open year-round; the desert is milder in the shoulder months than in August.
